"Well I know she is more than enough horse to share
And I know she's the darling of the whole damn faire
That's our Beulah
B – B – B – B- Beulah, B – B – B – B- Beulah."

Won the Day"

Broke down. Both front legs grotesquely broken.
Euthanized on the track.
I will remember you . . always.

In loving memory of my first horse who may have gone to slaughter.

I miss you buddy and live to see you again one day.
In the meantime you will be in my heart.

Do you remember the Virtual Vigil for Slaughtered Horses on our original website?
We started it a long, long time ago on December 10, 2004 when our organization was little over a year old. You can still view it at the Wayback Machine website.
Because it is an archived page from our former site, you can no longer "light" a candle. Yet, it is inspiring to scroll through and read the comments and where the people were from.
It is interesting that none the images from our original website were archived by the Wayback Machine people. However, the virtual candles remain "lit" and intact.
Loving companion to me and all the horses. She guarded, protected and kept us all entertained.
RIP my sweetness and delight.
